Creamy Mango Hemp Ice-Cream

Hemp food was legalised in Australia in November of 2017.

You can't get high off hemp seeds but they are FULL of wonderful nutrition and will make you feel great!

Some of their great nutrition includes protein, magnesium, zinc, iron, calcium other vitamins and minerals as well as essential fatty acids.

So why not make a healthy ice-cream full of hemp!

This ice-cream is my spin off a healthy Weis bar.

Creamy Mango Hemp Ice-Cream recipe


  • 2 cups x Frozen mango (Must be frozen if you want to eat straight away)

  • 1/8 cup x Hemp seeds

  • 1/8 cup x Coconut cream (Cold, out of the fridge)

  • 1/4-1/2 cup x Filtered cold water

  • 6 x Macadamias (Crushed into smaller chunks)


  1. Add mango, coconut milk and hemp seeds in your blender

  2. Add small amounts of the water till it just blends into a ice-cream 'thick' mixture - Adding too much water will make it extra runny and lose taste

  3. Add the macadamias after blending or into the last whirl for a chunky and tasty texture

  4. Enjoy straight away! - If you want to save some for later, put into popsicle trays.


Add extra toppings while soft, like maca nibs and bee pollen for an extra taste and nutrient boost!

Get Creative:

By using popsicle trays you can make layers of ice-cream, add the coconut milk and macadamia into the popsicle tray first, instead of in the main blend. This is more a Weis version!
