Life is often so busy, that we sometimes miss the important signs that our body is trying to tell us.
Many people put up with stress, pain and use band-aid treatments to get on with the daily tasks of life... Continually ignoring these signs until finally these symptoms develop into more chronic issues and we are made to listen.
The Dalai Lama was asked what surprised him most about humanity and he replied...
“Man. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health."
So what can we do to help stress, pain and our daily lives? - A detox!
When you do a holistic detox you can remove:
-Physical toxins in your body
-Toxic food and drinks you are putting in your mouth
-Toxins you are putting into your mind
-A space that may contain toxic friends
-Technology you are addicted to
-Unhealthy work habits or stress factors...
THEN... Add in the good!
Such as healthy food, movement, good connections, nature and some beautiful, healthy lifestyle practices. :)

Here are some key signs that you may be in need of a detox:
Stress, anxiety & depression Stress can lead to many unpleasant symptoms: Sleep issues, fatigue, foggy mind, anxiety, addiction, indigestion, high blood pressure, depression, mood swings, tension, aches and pain, lack of motivation and a weakened immune system.
Of course we can do many things to support these symptoms but if you keep having reoccurrences then to get long lasting results you need to remove the main cause-
Where that stress is coming from.
We can't all quit our jobs and live in paradise but we CAN change contributing factors around us AND how we respond.
Indigestion and gut issues
The most common symptoms that my clients seek help for is constipation and bloating.
Both bloating, constipation, pain and diarrhoea are strong signs that you are stressed in some form, you may also have a microbiombe issue and the food you’re eating isn’t right for your body.
Over time this weakens your digestive system and causes many issues in the body.
Some foods nourish and revitalise us, while other foods are literally poisoning us. A lot of our food today is highly processed, chemically sprayed and genetically modified which has shown a huge increase in gut issues, indigestion, food intolerances and allergies.
Unfortunately, these are often the foods we reach for when we are busy and stressed.
Choosing healthier food is a wonderful short and long term investment. You won't regret it!
Pain is a sign from our body that something is wrong. Your pain may be stemming from one of the above points or it could be another reason.
Sometimes, the place we feel pain is very far away from where the true cause is, making it hard to find answers.
If you are experiencing pain that you - and your medical doctor or practitioner - can’t explain, you may need to look more deeply at what’s going on in inside and in your lifestyle to heal it.
Don't give up and keep looking for the answers.
Detoxing the body from ANY toxins is a great way to make beautiful changes in your life...
And it is never too late to start! :)
Every body is different, just as every mind and life is different.
SO it doesn't come as a surprise that we may need to detox differently.
What works for your friend, might not be the best option for you.
